Are you legally authorized to perform weddings in Ontario?

Yes! We are certified and licensed wedding officiants authorized to legally perform weddings in Ontario.

What types of ceremonies do you offer?

We offer a wide range of ceremonies, including:

  • The Intimate “I do”

  • The Elopment

  • The Classic

  • Vow renewals

  • Commitment ceremonies

Each ceremony is thoughtfully customized to reflect your values, personality, and love story.

Do you perform same-sex weddings?

Absolutely! We celebrate love in all its forms and proudly officiate LGBTQ+ weddings.

​

Can we write our own vows?

Yes, and we encourage it! We’re happy to offer guidance, examples, or feedback to help you write vows that feel genuine and meaningful.

Do you travel outside of Ottawa?

Yes, we serve the greater Ottawa region including Carleton Place, Arnprior, Almonte, Kemptville, Brockville, Manotick, Merrickville, Prescott, and beyond, and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply for longer distances—reach out to confirm.

Will you attend our rehearsal?

Rehearsal attendance can be included in your package or added for an additional fee. It’s often a great way to ensure everyone feels confident on the big day.

How do we book you?

To secure your date, we require a signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit. Get in touch via our Contact page to start the process.

Can we meet before booking?

Absolutely! We offer complimentary consultations—either virtually or in person—so we can get to know each other and discuss your vision.

What happens after we book?

Once you’re booked, we’ll guide you through the ceremony planning process. This includes:

  • Outlining the ceremony structure

  • Adding meaningful personal touches

  • Reviewing legal requirements

  • We’ll also take care of submitting the paperwork after your wedding

Do you provide the marriage licence?

No, couples must obtain their marriage licence from a municipal office in Ontario. We’re happy to guide you through the steps to get it.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. The initial deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your date and time. If cancellation occurs:

  • More than 30 days before the ceremony: no further payment is required.

  • Less than 30 days before the ceremony: 50% of the remaining balance may be due.

  • Within 7 days of the ceremony: the full fee may apply.

  • We aim to be as flexible and understanding as possible. If you're rescheduling rather than cancelling,

  • We’ll do our best to accommodate your new date at no additional cost.
